In the past, I used to have to go through all of one writer’s books before finding the recipe. I especially love the ability to look up a recipe from one of my favourite authors and know instantly which book holds it. Your website has been an invaluable tool that enables me to leverage all of the recipes in my library, and I will be a customer for life!!! I use it nearly every day. And I can even do this from the grocery aisle. I can search for a recipe idea and retrieve every recipe among 630 books on my bookshelves and then choose. Now I have so much better access to my cookbooks than I ever thought possible.
Never would have thought of it or had the time to go through my cookbooks. I love EYB! Wasn't sure what to do with chicken cutlets tonight and am now making 'Skillet Basil-Peach Chicken Breasts'. I've made 5 new meals in a week all because I could finally search through all my recipes! And indexing popular recipe websites? Pure Genius! A site that allows indexing and searching of recipes you own. WOW! You nailed it! This is exactly what was missing. I adore cookbooks and now I have access to them and can have so much more fun with them. You've created a brilliant resource and it has really changed my life for the better. It has brought me back to my cookbooks - they were too numerous and hard to search before. We are using our books much more than we used to do. With CDs we always ended up playing the same albums, with streaming we listen to a much wider range of music. We liken to it the change from moving to music streaming from playing CDs. I LOVE this resource! It is such a wealth of knowledge and keeps my cookbook collection (202 and counting!) organized so that I can easily find recipes in books. I have come to love simply searching an ingredient to see what ideas come up, ideas that were already on my shelf in books I would never have thought to peruse for that ingredient. It has me cooking more than ever and enjoying the wealth of my library in ways I never imagined. I simply cannot imagine not having your service available.
I can actually find recipes without taking hours to go through my very large collection of cookbooks. I have been DELIGHTED with Eat Your Books and find it makes a huge difference in the way I cook. Now my cookbooks are ‘available’ to me again and I can find my recipes and enjoy the book for exactly the reason I bought it in the first place. just loving this service! It's a brilliant idea and it truly has allowed me to "rediscover my cookbooks"!
